I attend close to a hundred shows a year and getting to the event or festival itself is only half the trip.
The other half is everything around it — the flight or the long haul to the resort, the hotel that’s never quite quiet, the morning after three days on your feet. That’s the part nobody packs for, and it’s the part that decides whether you come home wrecked or come home ready to do it all again next weekend.
